With traveling to Esfahan you can enjoy visiting the one of the ancient capitals of Persia, beautiful river and many attractive ancient monuments.

 

The place that we will host you is only for 10 min. from international airport of Esfahan and 15 min. from city center.

Practical and Useful Information on Traveling to Iran
Week days
Weekend is Friday in Iran. Banks, post offices, travel agencies, and schools are closed on Fridays and half day Thursdays (usually from 12:00). Many other government offices are closed on both Thursdays and Fridays.

Electric Power
Electric power is 220 volts and 50Hz in Iran. Power sockets (outlets) are 2-pin (European).

Credit Cards
Credit cards do not have function in Iran, though many currencies, especially Euros and US Dollars, may be exchanged easily.

Clothing
According to law and regulations of Iran, travellers are expected to wear decent clothing upon their arrival and during their stay in Iran.
Gentlemen are not allowed to wear short trousers.
Ladies are required to observe their hijab. That is, to cover up hair, arms, neck, and legs.

Drugs and Alcoholic Dinks
Drugs and Alcoholic drinks are forbidden in Iran. You are not allowed to bring them with yourself. While in Iran you will not be served any kinds of alcoholic drinks.

Currency
The monetary unit in Iran is the "Rial"; but in daily conversation Tooman (equivalent to 10 Rials) is used. Bank notes of 100; 200; 500; 1,000; 2,000; 5,000; 10,000; and 20,000 Rials are in circulation. US$ 1 corresponds approximately to 9,200 Rials (920 Toomans).

Using your Mobile Phone in Iran
Participants from many countries can use their own mobile (cell) phones through roaming service while in Iran. Roaming is a service offered by most mobile service providers that allows users to use their phone if they are not in their home coverage area. In general, using a phone while roaming, incurs additional fees, though some service providers offer national roaming for free on some service plans. While roaming, it is cheaper to receive calls from home than vice versa.
